  • Choose between ECS and Cheque as the method for receiving your return.
  • Fill in the new Bank Account Number and your address information. 
  • Send in your request.
  • Your new address is updated with the Income Tax Department once the request is submitted.

Step 3: Enter the ITR’s ‘Acknowledgement number’ and the required information. Then press the ‘Submit’ button.
