- Visit NPS official website to register the NPS account online using the browser at enps.nsdl.com/eNPS/OnlineSubscriberRegistration.html?appType=main
- To open the National Pension Account three basic details are required including registered mobile number, email address, Active online bank account, and PAN number (If you want to open an individual pension account this is applicable and the KYC Completion is also mandatory along with PAN
- Fill in your PAN number make sure to provide the exact income tax PAN number
- Choose your online bank (For Deposit/Remittance)
- Click continue button
- Fill in all the mandatory details and personal information (Name as in PAN card, Date of birth, mobile number, email ID, Family details, and Identity Proof)
- Click Continue button ( A pop-up number emerges immediately containing the Acknowledgement number and the same is sent to the registered mobile number)
- Fill in your present and permanent address contact details, Bank details, Nomination, Photo, and signature as asked
- For verification, purpose scan your Aadhaar ID proof and signature (The online payment of minimum Rupees 500 is to be made to the newly created pension account once the process gets completed)
- Click Save & Proceed option to get the registration process completed
- Generate PRAN that is the unique pensioner number given for the lifetime
- Now click the ensign submit button to complete your successful registration of an NPS account online
