For all the scholarships offered for all state and union territories the National Scholarship portal is used The students can visit the National Scholarship portal if they want to enroll in any of the scholarship schemes offered by the Government of India as the portal is designed only for this purpose

In order to access the profile on the portal, every applicant is assigned with an application ID This profile is used to apply for any of the scholarships for which the applicant is eligible It is much easier to submit all details and required documents using the portal

Get Application ID for National Scholarship Portal

By using the registration number your forgotten password for the portal can be retrieved easily To get your ID back make sure to follow these steps

  • Go to the official website of National Scholarship Portal using your browser at https://scholarships.gov.in/
  • After clicking the login button choose the Fresh or Renewal Year option
  • Below the login, ID forgot Password button is given click it
  • Wait for a while after search using Bank Account Number
  • Now fill in your account number registered with the account
  • Click the check applicant ID option after entering the Captcha code

Your recovered Nation Scholarship Scheme ID is now displayed on the screen and now it can be used to login into National Pension Scheme Account

Method 2 By Using Mobile Number

  • Using your registered mobile number you can check the application ID for National Scholarship Portal
  • Using the above-given process visit the National Scholarship Portal Official Website
  • Wait for the page to load after clicking the Search by Mobile Number option
  • Now provide your registered mobile number to check application ID

Application ID for the National Scholarship portal is now displayed The NSP Account can be accessed anytime using the application ID

A password is required to access an individual account on National Scholarship Portal Thus password is mandatory In case you have forgotten the password follow the process to get password renewed

Forgot Password for National Scholarship Portal

  • Go to the official website of the National Scholarship portal at https://scholarships.gov.in/
  • After clicking the login button click the option forgot password
  • Enter your application ID and fill in the Captcha code
  • Click the next button and to send an OTP on the registered mobile number click enter
  • After verification click the submit button and wait for the password page to get opened
  • Now fill in your new password and click confirm the option

The renewal process of the forgotten password for the National Scholarship Portal is now completed Now new password can be used to access the profile along with the application ID
